On 19th March 2016, 15-year-old Paige Doherty was brutally murdered on her way to her Saturday job as a hairdresser.

Paige’s family had great support from the public and everyone around them after Paige’s death touched so many.

Following Paige’s death, Paige’s parents noticed so much help that was needed for families who had been bereaved suddenly and under tragic circumstances. They then decided to set up Paige’s Promise to honour Paige’s memory and to help other families who faced what they did.

On 18th August 2017, Paige’s Promise became a registered charity, Paige’s Promise SC047651.
